Aquitania is kaleidoscopic. It is indeed a large furniture, lighting and decoration shop situated in Mahón, but above all it is a way of understanding life, of enjoying it through a sustainable prism, of elegance and discretion, of passion for the luxury of the essential and recognition of everything that is truly worth it.
Since it opened in 2009 it has managed to become a reference of good taste in Menorca. Heir of the exquisiteness that La Cerería once represented when it opened in the heart of the city, this new proposal by Oriol Segura in the heart of Mahón’s industrial estate, is a faithful reflection of his nomadic spirit full of adventures to tell and which he has wanted to express through everything that the more than one thousand square metres of display include.
This is why Aquitania arouses great curiosity before entering. From the outside it projects a warm light that immediately tempts you to open its enormous, solid doors to be seduced by its proposals of textile interior design for our homes. Wood, natural fibres, cotton, wool, linen or jute brought together in a veritable declaration of love for materials in their purest state.
Aquitania is moved by the passion for beauty, Oriol himself admits that he travels around the world to find objects that provoke feelings in him. “Because when amongst the multitude I come across a special piece, I feel a flash and I know that we have to have it in Menorca”.
