Participate in something well worth it

From the Discovery Menorca Blog we are joining with the maximum effort to publicise the second Cursa del Toro run which will take place on the 2nd of July: another occasion to show solidarity to fight against rare diseases that this year all the money raised will be shared out equally between the Aemim (multiple sclerosis), Aspanob (child cancer), Fundame (muscular spinal atrophy) and the Ahuce Foundation (imperfect osteogenesis or brittle bone disease) associations.

Getting involved in something for reasons of solidarity always has its rewards. The results of last year meant that the Ahuce Foundation was able to set into motion a research project, currently in progress, where one hundred patients with OI could provide biological samples for study with the aim of finding future treatments.

The event will be on Saturday the 2nd of July at 6.30 in the afternoon with three possible routes for all types of public: the 400 metre race, the 4.7 kilometre race and the 7.2 kilometre race. You should not forget that in the Cursa del Toro you can take part running or walking, on your own, or with family and friends because the most important thing is for everyone to be able to do their bit.

Here you have the links of the organisations for whom this year we will all put on the T-shirt:
