I have been asked to share with you one of my hobbies when I am out of the office. I always say that I like cycling because it is very healthy but I have to confess that it has become a passion that goes well beyond the question of health. I think I crossed the line the day I realised that I could discover a different Menorca that, I would never have normally visited. Possibilities that began with the Camí de Cavalls to cycling routes or country tracks that you can find easily explained in any book or web page, with detailed information about the difficulty, the points of interest along the route and many more things.
In my case, I have several apps on the mobile where I can check the routes or even share them with other people. To mention some, Endomondo, Wikiloc or Mountain Bike by Runtastic. I think I can say that Menorca today is well adapted to touring on two wheels.
My recommendation before setting off would be to always take your swimsuit and sun cream because the breeze that blows conceals unpleasant surprises when you return home and you realise that your front is the colour of a tomato. Of course you must not forget the bottle of water since these bike rides do not usually come across supermarkets or bars to refill. And naturally, the mobile phone or camera to take a selfie or to immortalise the incredible landscapes that Menorca has hidden away.
