Today we are pleased to introduce you to the EcoPwani Menorca footwear brand, the sustainable “abarcas” sandals, created by Nico and Clara, two Menorcan nature lovers who ventured to create authentic menorcan sandals that respect the environment, the soles of which are entirely made from materials that have been collected on the coasts of Menorca by the association Per La Mar Viva.
Their philosophy is to create something more than simple footwear, to convey an idea to everyone. Their wish is that when you wear their ecological Menorcan sandals, you will feel that you are taking great strides towards a change that encourages and helps improve the health of the planet, the oceans and everyone of us who live in it.
At Pwani Menorca they want to demonstrate that it is possible to respect, care for and enrich the world that we live in from the firm defence of values such as ecology, sustainability, reinvindication of the artisanal and local commerce.
Thus, EcoPwani was born, the new comfortable and sustainable “abarcas” sandals made 100% in Menorca, reusing for their soles three plastic bottles collected from the sea. A very eco-sustainable purpose!
