We are coming to the end of another busy year fulfilling the dreams of the many people who have trusted in our Estate Agency and today we want to talk about one of the objectives that our company started which goes beyond our everyday remit. A mission which aims to give back to society all that she gives generously to us.
The first gesture happened in October, giving an award for the work done by the Association of Relatives of Alzheimer’s Diseases of Menorca and thanks to sponsorship we could make the sixth edition of the Onda Cero Awards. During the gala held in the Teatro Principal of Mahon, our President, Juan Torres, had the honour of publicly thanking the president of this non-profit making organisation which accompanies those who suffer this cruel disease in their own environment.

The next gesture was born from an idea that came from within our own company to edit a solidarity calendar dedicated to three charities: the fight against breast cancer (ALBA Association), the fight against childhood cancer (ASPANOB) and help for abandoned or abused animals (Ciutadella Animal Protection). Last year a photography competition for evocative images of Menorca was held and we got twelve photographs to illustrate a calendar. The idea was that the charities would receive all monies from the sale of the calendars plus a €1,000 donation from us. The calendar is on sale in our offices and in the headquarters of the three charities.
The third gesture will take place on 16thDecember when we will be sponsoring the gala that for 30 years has been celebrating the Cadena Ser in the fairground of Mahon under the wonderful title “For the smile of a child”. We will do our bit to make this an unforgettable day for the little ones.
