Apart from our Christmas dinner, Bonnin Sanso also has other staff outings, this year a paella on the small beach of Cala Videra, Es Grau. Over 36 in total, staff and their families, from 18 months old upwards.
We were very lucky in that the day was slightly overcast, so no problem with the younger ones getting sunburnt, (although the parents made sure they were well covered in suntan cream) as they all played on the beach and swam throughout the day. After enjoying an excellent and succulent paella with lots of lovely prawns and which was brought to Es Grau by Sa Cuina de Mo Mare in Es Castell, a take away to be highly recommended, we then sang along with Steve and Yago, who had brought their guitars.
It lasted into the early evening, the English and Menorcan songs could be heard from the little casita on the beach, and many of the beach goers came and joined in, with Juan Torres baritone voice ringing out above the rest. A really superb day was had by all.
