When you land in Menorca for the first time, you might think you have arrived on a small island, but in fact it is not so small. The beauty of Menorca is very diverse, each person could point out a different quality, and what is most surprising is that despite having been born here, I continue discovering new aspects every day. In fact, in my free time, I set about touring the island, following different routes along the Camí de Cavalls. Most of all, I like spending time alongside the coast because I can really relax facing the sea and being able to take in the astonishing views that our island affords us. Any time of year is good, since our climate gives us more than 9 months of very pleasant weather.
Sometimes my 12-year-old daughter accompanies me, but I have to admit that it’s quite hard convincing her because she tells me she can’t be bothered to go walking! However, once I have her walking with her trainers on, she enjoys herself even more than I do. Sometimes, when we reach a beach, we go swimming as a prize for our efforts. We love going out together and sharing this free time that life gifts us. I feel lucky to be able to live on this marvellous island in the Mediterranean where one notices the quality of life in every corner.
