Es Grau.- Located on the north coast, near Maó, and equipped with both lifeguard and first aid services, this family beach is perfect to visit with small children due to its shallow and calm waters as they are protected by a small island “s’illa d’en Colom”. Also, older children can enjoy some time on a pedal boat. A forested area separates the beach from a marshy area called ‘s’Albufera’, which makes for a nice walk before or after your swim.
Cala Galdana.- On the southeast coast of Menorca, near Ferreries, Cala Santa Galdana is one of the most beautiful Menorquean beaches, despite there many tourist installations in its surrounding. It is 450 metres long and 45 metres wide and has numerous services, including beach bars, restaurants, sunshades and hammocks all of which ensure a pleasant day from the moment we park in the nearby parking area.
Arenal de Son Saura.- The third beach that we suggest is situated in Es Mercadal. Its easily accessible- the car park is next to the beach and has a wooden walkway that leads us right onto the beach, it also boasts a bar/restaurant, lifeguard services, sunshades, hammocks and pedal boats, that all make this beach with crystal clear waters, an excellent option for those who prefer less urbanized spaces. Towards the end of the beach, in Son Parc, we can find a sport and leisure area under the shade of the pine trees.
